Manny Pacquiao 8th Round TKO beating de la Hoya

The stars were aligned even prior the match between these boxing icons, it was a dream come true for Manny Pacquiao to face one of his idols for real, but how much more might he have felt when he took down that idol of his?

The boxing sensation of the Philippines did it again, and the discussion that has been going on was true. Manny Pacquiao has let Oscar de la Hoya eat dust and his punches. At the start of the match, it was pretty obvious who the favorite among these two boxers were, and everything turned to be for the Golden Boy’s favor, everything, except the win.

From the first round on, it was a one sided contest going the favor of Manny Pacquiao who has prepared very well and trained very hard to achieve this. People say that even Diaz would have been a stronger contender against Manny Pacquiao in this situation; de la Hoya just looked terrible, from start to finish it was the pride of the Philippines that was clear to succeed.

Manny Pacquiao has now another victory added under his record, another TKO, but not just a simple TKO, a TKO against the “Golden Boy”, the Ten Time World Champion.

Some say that the age was the factor in this match, whilst at the other hand a handful are saying that it was just pure luck that Manny was able to execute that well, but hey? It’s over, Manny Pacquiao won and people can’t do a thing against it. It wasn’t just for the money, it was for his pride, his pride of entering the scene as an underdog and going home with his hands in the sky.

Guess this will be yet another Holiday for the Philippines? Don’t you? :D
