Write Press’ future

I have thought about the future of my other domain, writepress.org. One domain that is of certain potential to bring income to me, people say, and also a domain of high potential in informing people about this and that. Initially I thought making it a Buddy Press Installation would work out, but it didn’t. Then I tried to get people hosted on it for the less geekier WordPress MU install that I used on the site until it faded into dust and eventually evaporated to nothing. Now is the time that I do something about it, something useful, something that makes sense, and one option that I look forward to is to start blogging on it again (which is pretty obvious) – but ’bout what can I possibly blog on that blog?

First of all, I thought about relaunching it this coming Mindanao Bloggers Summit as a Couple Blog, meaning, a blog that I and my girl friend will author about various or should I say, random things that come to my mind the moment I hit the dashboard of WritePress.Org. It’s just a thought but it might soon be seen on your monitor. The content is what is making me worry a bit though.

Even now, I have problems about what and where I should post things, especially now in the war between Student Blogger and Pinoy Teens that deals about who among these two websites is going to be the priority and what content each should receive, which is until the present, pretty much evenly distributed and common to each other.

Since I am right now looking for additional authors to aid me in blogging on Pinoy Teens, it could take a lot of priority off from me, and give me a greater chance to work on Write Press and Student Blogger. One thing that I am trying to get ’round though is that I’ll strictly tackle topics that I totally love on this blog, like for instance, talking about myself and my life in the Dear Diary Section :p

Write Press at the other hand is expected to reach topics more identical to Pinoy Teens, but with a little twist, it’ll be authored by yours truly and Rhea Palapar who will aid me with it. Topics about us are also certain to pop up every now and then, but most of the time you’ll read the more generic topics flicker on your monitors, especially topics that are trend to females, since she’s the one who will be mainly in-charge.

Pinoy Teens future is looking bright again with the new milestones that I have set ahead of me, new objectives that I would like to tackle. If before, Pinoy Teens has mainly been discussing the generic and showbiz topics, we will try to dig deeper into the real context of our website, the main reason why we’ve created it and something that would be of more interest to foreigners which is the Filipino Teen.

I’ll rearrange and do some design edits on the template so that it’ll only showcase the most interesting Filipino-Teen / Youth Related topics right there in the main focus for the readers while it’ll still provide other basic news like showbiz, sports and general news on the frequent basis it did a couple of weeks before.

A whole bunch of projects and objectives that I have to reach within the next couple of weeks, I’m so excited about it, and I’m also very excited how Write Press will make its way through the web, and how the feedback of other bloggers and readers will be about this move.
